Dronix Foods Private Limited operates www.vedicpickles.com. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it. In short: we collect what we need to deliver your pickles and nothing we don't.
What we collect
- Order details — your name, mobile number, email (if you give one), delivery address and pincode, and what you ordered. We need these to ship to you.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Razorpay. We receive only a payment reference and whether it succeeded. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, CVV or bank password.
- Usage data — your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and where you came from (for example a Facebook or Instagram ad). This helps us understand which ads and pages actually work.
- Cookies — a small amount of data stored in your browser to keep your cart, remember your address on the checkout form, and measure advertising.
Why we use it
- To process, pack, ship and track your order.
- To send order confirmations and delivery updates by email and WhatsApp.
- To answer your questions and handle replacements or refunds.
- To measure and improve our advertising, and to show you relevant ads on Meta platforms.
- To keep records required by tax and food-safety law.
Who we share it with
Only the partners that make an order happen:
- Razorpay — to take payment and process refunds.
- Our courier partners — your name, address and phone number, so they can deliver.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — we send a hashed, unreadable version of your email and phone number through the Meta Conversions API so Meta can measure whether its ads led to sales. Hashing is one-way; Meta does not receive your details in readable form. You can opt out of ad personalisation in your Facebook and Instagram settings.
- Our web host — which stores the website and its database.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone, ever.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (currently eight years in India). Analytics and advertising data are kept for a much shorter period. You can ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your data, subject to our legal record-keeping duties.
- Tell us to stop sending you promotional messages — just reply STOP on WhatsApp or email us.
- Block or clear cookies in your browser. The cart may stop working if you block all storage.

Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Payment data never touches our server. Access to the order database is password-protected and limited to the business owner. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
